How This Pokémon GO Power Up Calculator Works01+
A standard power-up raises Pokémon level by 0.5. For each step, the engine reads that starting level’s Stardust, Candy, and Candy XL cost, adds it to the running totals, and advances until the target is reached.
CP gain is target CP minus current CP using the same species and IVs at two CPM values. Resource costs are normal-Pokémon values; Shadow and Purified multipliers are intentionally not guessed from the selection.
Worked Example for the Pokémon GO Power Up Calculator02+
Powering a level 1 Pokémon to level 2 requires two actions: 1.0→1.5 and 1.5→2.0. The reviewed rows each cost 200 Stardust and one Candy, so the tested total is 400 Stardust, two Candy, zero Candy XL, and two power-ups.
