What the Fortnite Sensitivity Calculator calculates
The Fortnite Sensitivity Calculator converts a known mouse setting to a different DPI without changing base effective sensitivity. It is useful after changing mice or DPI stages.
Use the Fortnite Sensitivity Calculator
- 1
Enter current DPI and sensitivity.
- 2
Enter target DPI.
- 3
Copy the calculated target sensitivity.
- 4
Verify a measured turn in game.
A result you can audit
Each section documents the calculation and the limits that apply to this specific gameplay problem.
How This Fortnite Sensitivity Calculator Works01+
Current eDPI = current DPI × current sensitivity decimal. Target sensitivity percent = current eDPI ÷ target DPI × 100.
Worked Example for the Fortnite Sensitivity Calculator02+
800 DPI at 6.5% is 52 eDPI. At 1,600 DPI, the matching sensitivity is 52 ÷ 1,600 × 100 = 3.25%.
How to Use the Fortnite Sensitivity Calculator Result03+
Use the conversion as the starting setting, then verify acceleration, polling, and Fortnite targeting multipliers. Small rounding differences can be tuned by feel.
Fortnite Sensitivity Calculator Accuracy and Limitations04+
The conversion preserves base eDPI only. It cannot match mouse sensor behavior, Windows acceleration, controller response curves, or different games’ yaw systems.
- ADS settings are separate.
- DPI must be the actual active stage.
- Rounding may slightly change turn distance.
Fortnite calculator FAQs
Clear answers about calculations, data, independence, privacy and practical use.
Why does doubling DPI halve Fortnite sensitivity?
To keep the same eDPI, the two factors must move inversely: twice the DPI needs half the sensitivity.
Will the converted setting feel exactly identical?
Base turn distance should be close, but sensor, polling, acceleration, and rounding can affect feel.
Can I convert controller sensitivity with this?
No. Controller response curves and stick settings are not DPI-based.
