How This 99 Nights Progress Calculator Works01+
Progress percentage = current night ÷ target night × 100, clamped to the target. Remaining nights = max(target − current, 0). Player count is displayed as run context rather than changing the percentage.
Worked Example for the 99 Nights Progress Calculator02+
At night 37 with target 99, progress is 37 ÷ 99 ≈ 37.4% and 62 nights remain. Four players do not turn that into 149.6%; party size affects supplies, not night progress.
How to Use the 99 Nights Progress Calculator Result03+
Use the percentage as a milestone and remaining nights as the input for resource planning. Difficulty and resource burn may rise, so do not assume 37% progress means 37% of the effort is complete.
99 Nights Progress Calculator Accuracy and Limitations04+
Night count does not model difficulty curve, deaths, optional objectives, time per night, or resource state. The target is user-selected.
- Percentage is count-based.
- Run quality is not scored.
- Players remaining do not alter elapsed nights.
99 Nights calculator FAQs
Clear answers about calculations, data, independence, privacy and practical use.
Does 50% night progress mean half the run effort is done?
Not necessarily. Later nights or resource pressure may be harder; the percentage only compares night numbers.
Why is player count shown if it does not change progress?
It provides party context and connects the result to food and fuel planning, where player count can matter.
Can I use a target below night 99?
Yes. The formula measures progress toward any valid target entered.
