What the 99 Nights Crafting Calculator calculates
The 99 Nights Crafting Calculator answers how many complete copies of one recipe can be made from the wood and scrap currently held. It identifies the limiting material and shows leftovers so scarce resources are not committed from a rough mental estimate.
Use the 99 Nights Crafting Calculator
- 1
Enter wood and scrap on hand.
- 2
Enter the current recipe cost per craft.
- 3
Review maximum whole crafts and the limiting material.
- 4
Keep required reserves out of the available inputs.
A result you can audit
Each section documents the calculation and the limits that apply to this specific gameplay problem.
How This 99 Nights Crafting Calculator Works01+
Wood-limited crafts = floor(wood available ÷ wood per craft); scrap-limited crafts = floor(scrap available ÷ scrap per craft). The smaller whole number is the maximum batch. Consumption multiplies that batch by each cost, and leftovers subtract consumption from inventory.
Worked Example for the 99 Nights Crafting Calculator02+
With 80 wood and 30 scrap for a recipe costing 8 wood and 3 scrap, both materials support 10 crafts. The batch consumes all 80 wood and 30 scrap. If scrap falls to 28, only nine complete crafts are possible and eight wood plus one scrap remain.
How to Use the 99 Nights Crafting Calculator Result03+
Use the limiting-material result to choose the next gathering target. If campfire fuel also uses wood, subtract the fuel reserve before entering available wood so crafting does not consume the survival budget.
99 Nights Crafting Calculator Accuracy and Limitations04+
The tool does not know live recipes, workstations, unlock requirements, or alternative materials. The player must enter verified current recipe costs.
- Partial crafts are discarded by floor rounding.
- Reserved supplies must be removed manually.
- Recipe changes require new inputs.
Craft batch arithmetic
The smallest ingredient-supported batch controls the result.
| Resource | Available ÷ cost | Supported crafts |
|---|---|---|
| Wood | 80 ÷ 8 | 10 |
| Scrap | 28 ÷ 3 | 9 |
| Maximum batch | min(10, 9) | 9 |
99 Nights calculator FAQs
Clear answers about calculations, data, independence, privacy and practical use.
Why does the crafting result round down?
A recipe needs every required material. Resources for a partial tenth item cannot produce another complete craft.
How do I protect campfire wood from the craft batch?
Subtract the planned fuel reserve and enter only the wood genuinely available for crafting.
Does the calculator know current 99 Nights recipes?
No. Recipe costs are user-entered so current in-game requirements remain visible and verifiable.
